Part-Time Freelance Writing

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

For many internet marketers, the main way of earning money on the Internet is as a freelance writer. This is not a stable job of indiscipline or without back up. You see, it is either feast or famine of freelance work. It is easy to make one or two months, but how about the next months to come. When you get a job, you can milk for all it is worth. Fulfill the contract, go beyond the call of duty, and try to get additional work. Every employer is precious, and it is difficult to keep a longer time than one job. However, if you are able to impress them with the quality of work you do, you’ll be able to make money on the Internet quite easily. It will not necessarily make you rich, but you will live to a good standard of living while working at home. For me, it’s more than enough to be worthwhile.

When this happens, the visitor usually goes to a search engine and types in the keywords they are looking, for example: Revenue Lawyer, Paracetamol, NBA Games Results, etc.  It could be anything they want. The significant thing is that you have an article that has keywords that are related to your site. A very effective article must have a density that is not too high or to low. In a high density, the essence of the article may lost and may turn off the reader as well as the search engines. A low number could result to be ignored by the search engine. It is very important that an article must have a good keyword density for a search engine to feel its presence. Getting a high rank is what an article do best best for a site. Articles should have at least ten to twenty percent of keyword density in their content in order that the search engines could rank high in the site in the search results.

Articles must be able to entertain the reader as well as provide good information and help of their needs and it should be regarded as a good reading materials. In writing an article, try to get great information and as many facts as you can ans it should be written well with correct spelling and good grammar. People respond well to facts, statistics and figures. As more people believe in you, they will be able to trust you and have confidence in your products. Make sure you make your work good and well thought out.
  4. Linking Articles. Submitting articles to ezines and/or contributing your articles to newsletters and other sites. Do not ever forget to include a link to your site. In a little resource box with a brief description of your site should  always be placed right after your articles that you have submitted. If people like your asricles, they will most likely click on the link directing them to your site. This is another thing that you should remember always.

Research and studies have shown that most internet readers simply  scan a page to find an information they are looking for. They  don’t read the entire page. This encourages you as a writer to have good titles and a lot of sub-titles. You can also  make use of bullet points to help your readers to scan easily your page. Using this approach, readers will prefer your site because it is easy to use and they will surely return to your site time and time again. The more that your readers return, the more opportunities for you as a writer to  get them click on each one of your affiliate links. If you can not write your articles this way, your readers may turn away to your site and even fail to have a chance to see what you have to say or to learn what affiliate links are all about. Always keep your articles organized to enable your visitors returning to your site and for you to continue making money.

If you don’t believe that writing articles can make you earn online, then read on and believe.

Article writing is a costless way to promote your site and products. Amazingly, if you write good contents, that means unique contents, your income could reach twice or thrice as much as you used to earn.

When you write, it’s not about anything just under the sun. Personal blogs are good, but it’s better if you decide to write about subjects that people really want to read. Focus on a particular niche which is related to your sites/products.You can submit your articles to various free content submission sites which are also called directories. The articles you submit contain links to your own website. Article writing works twice to your advantage. First, when readers click on a link to your site, you get traffic that can be converted to profit. These unexpected visitors can be prospective clients or buyers. If they find your information relevant and your product useful, they’d surely buy your product or subscribe to your site. Secondly, other webmasters can also publish your articles in their sites, but they have to link back to your site.

Your creative juices must keep on flowing. One article submitted is the beginning, and it mustn’t stop there. As you write more articles and submit them to many websites, your traffic increases, too. More and more visitors are reading, if not simply browsing, whatever you have written in your site. Search engines can index your site/s because of more incoming links to your sites. Once your site has been indexed, it can increase your site importance or ranking. For example, Google constantly updates the rankings of all sites indexed in their search engine. Every time someone searches for a product or keyword, Google leads the visitor to an indexed site such as your site. As more visitors browse through your site, your traffic is increased as well as your page ranking. Every webmaster’s goal is to find his site among the top-searched pages.

When your site becomes accessible to many prospective buyers or subscribers, there is a greater chance of earning more from what you are doing. That means more cash flowing to your bank account! All it takes are your articles and the search engines.
